The walnut harvest begins in mid-September each year and continues through the first part to middle of November. During the cool autumn months and into early Winter, ShoEi is busy shipping inshell walnuts to markets worldwide.

The ShoEi Foods (USA) inshell operation incorporates two separate inshell lines. We predominantly offer three varieties of inshell walnuts: Chandler, Howard, and Hartley. ShoEi offers these fine varieties in USDA size categories Jumbo and Jumbo/Large.
The high-yield Chandler variety, with its light color and mild flavor, is harvested typically in October through early November
The high-yield Howard variety yields large, flavorful, light-colored nuts and is growing in popularity.
The Hartley variety, with its distinguishing triangular shape, is the traditional holiday walnut.
